jQuery selectors are used to "find" (or select) HTML elements based on their name, id, classes, types, attributes, values of attributes and much more
Identify a step by jQuery selector
If the confidence score of an inline step is less than 100% use a jQuery selector to increase the confidence score for that particular step
Right click on your page and select "Inspect"
Let's find the jQuery element of the "Download" button
Click here to select an element to inspect it
Select an element and copy the unique code
Click on "Add Step"
Select "Inline Step"
You are in Capture mode now, this mode enables you to select an element on this page
Select an element
After selecting element you will see this step creator panel
Selected element comes up with step title popup
Scroll down to "Matching Algorithm" section
Here you can see "Confidence Score"
1. Green color shows the high accuracy level of element
2. Red color shows the low accuracy level of element
Select "jQuery Selector" radio button
Enter values in below formats:
Now you can see that the confidence score has been increased to 100%, after using jQuery selector, earlier it was 80%
